HHP Law Firm (HHP), is pleased to announce that leading IP Tech lawyer Nidya Kalangie has joined the Firm as a Partner on 12 January 2026, further bolstering the Firm's IP Tech (Commercial) capabilities.
With around 25 years of experience, Nidya has established herself as one of Indonesia’s leading Intellectual Property practitioners. She has advised clients across a wide range of sectors and industries, demonstrating deep expertise in IP brand protection, litigation, and commercial advisory matters. Her practice is particularly distinguished by her focus on registration, licensing, franchising, and brand strategy, where she has consistently delivered successful outcomes for both domestic and multinational companies in the healthcare, consumer goods/retail and financial industries.

Nidya is a member of INTA, Asian Patent Attorney Association (APAA), ASEAN Intellectual Property Association (ASEAN IPA). Additionally, she serves as Deputy Secretary General and Treasurer at the Asosiasi Konsultan Hak Kekayaan Intelektual (AKHKI). Nidya has been recognized by leading legal directories, including Chambers & Partners Asia-Pacific, Legal 500 and Managing Intellectual Property.
Nidya joins our firm from SKC Law Firm, one of Indonesia’s leading IP firms, where she was a co-founding partner. Prior to her time at SKC Law Firm, Nidya built her expertise at Suryomurcito & Co (in affiliation with Rouse), Dewi Soeharto Maramis & Partner, and Soebagjo, Roosdiono, Jatim & Djarot. She holds an LLB from the Faculty of Law, University of Indonesia, and is admitted to practice by PERADI in 2002. She is also a registered IP Consultant with the Ministry of Law since 2006 and a registered mediator at the National Mediation Center since 2012.
