With more than 20 years of experience, Ponti has long been recognized as a respected and trusted leader within the Firm. In his role as the Head of our Tax and Customs Practice Group, he has consistently demonstrated sound judgment, a thoughtful and decisive approach to leadership and a deep commitment to the Firm’s values. He has built a strong and cohesive tax and customs practice with profound technical knowledge and experience. His excellence has been consistently acknowledged by leading legal directories, including Band 1 rankings in Chambers Asia Pacific and recognition by International Tax Review, Legal 500 and Asian Business Law Journal.
He is widely appreciated not only for his professional acumen and sharp insight, but also for his approachable manner, collegial spirit, and commitment to developing people.
Following in the footsteps of Mita Guritno, whose leadership has guided the Firm with distinction, Ponti assumes this role at an important stage in HHP’s continued development.
