Biography
Andrew is a foreign legal consultant in the transactional practice group, he focuses on mergers & acquisitions and private equity transaction. Prior to joining HHP Law Firm, Andrew worked as international counsel with another International top tier law firm which he joined after working for one of the largest conglomerates In Indonesia where he focused primarily in the TMT and IMT sectors.
Representative Legal Matters
- Represented PT Saka Industrial Arjaya on its strategic acquisition of PT Mega Manunggal Property Tbk.
- Represented IDX-listed PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk (IDX:TPIA), Indonesia's leading chemical and infrastructure solutions company, in the equity investment of USD 194 million from Electricity Generating Public Company Limited (EGCO Group) for a 30% equity stake in PT Chandra Daya Investasi (CDI), an infrastructure platform of the Chandra Asri Group.
- Represented Indonesian Battery Corporation and ANTAM in relation to their joint venture investment in five joint venture agreements with Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL) and Contemporary Brunp Lygend (CBL) in respect of an end to end electric car and motorbike battery precursor and battery manufacturing and battery recycling project in Indonesia.
- Represented Aspen Medical and Docta in relation to its USD 1 billion Joint venture in West Java to build and operate 650 healthcare clinics and 23 hospitals across Indonesia in co-operation with the regional owned enterprise PT Jasa Sarana.
- Represented Takeda Pharmaceutical Company, Ltd in relation to the sale of a significant part of its Indonesian pharmaceutical manufacturing and distribution business.
- Represented Telkom Group on its joint venture with Singtel in a data center business in Batam, Indonesia.
- Represented Indosat on its joint venture with BDx and iSquared for the development of a brownfield and greenfield data center in Jakarta Indonesia.
- Represented an Indonesian infrastructure & TMT company on a tender application for a new Satellite Public Private Partnership Project with the Indonesian government.
- Represented Hayman Capital on the acquisition of an Indonesian P2P microfinance lender.
- Represented PT Inti Bangun Sejahtera Tbk in relation its divestment of up to 3,000 telecommunication towers to PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk in a transaction valued at USD 280 million.
- Represented PT Indosat Tbk on the USD 750 million sale of 4200+ telecommunication towers to PT EPID Menara AssetCo (Edge Point Indonesia) one of the largest deals of its kind in Asia.
